How do I become an exhibitor for the MarketPlace?
All exhibiting companies must have at least one company representative who is an active member in the Society. For more information on membership fees and benefits, click here.
The MarketPlace prospectus is available online each October.
What are the benefits to being an exhibitor?
As an exhibitor you will have three days to network with over 1,000 baking professionals in the grain-based food industry.
What constitutes the “membership year”?
ASB operates on a fiscal year. As such, the membership year runs from July 1 through June 30.
Who may apply for membership?
Membership is open to all individuals in the baking industry whether they are employed with a baking organization, equipment or ingredient suppliers or baking service related organizations.
We also offer a complimentary student membership for individuals who are presently enrolled as full-time students working towards a degree that will secure a position in the baking industry.
What are the membership levels and benefits?
ASB offers four different membership levels, three of which – Professional, Young Professional and Student – are open to prospective members. The fourth, our Lifetime membership is a level current members may upgrade to, should they meet the necessary requirements.

Does ASB offer a guest membership?
ASB does not offer guest or trial memberships. Prospective individuals interested in exploring and utilizing the Society’s member benefits must apply for membership.

Does ASB prorate dues?
The Society does not prorate dues after a certain date. Whether renewing or applying for your first year, full dues payment is required to activate the account and access member benefits.
How do I apply for membership?
Prospective members may apply to ASB either online or by downloading, completing and returning the paper application. Please visit the ASB Member Types webpage to apply today or to download the appropriate membership level application.
How do I renew my membership?
Eligible members may renew for the current membership year via one of the following options:
- Online via their member portal
- Downloading and returning the appropriate renewal form: Professional or Young Professional
- Contacting the Director, Member Relations, Amanda Gonzalez, at [email protected].
What is the deadline for a membership renewal?
The renewal season opens at the start of the July for the current year. ASB does accept membership renewals throughout the current membership year.
However, please note if renewal payment is not received before August 31 of the current membership year, then a member’s access to the valuable tools and information on ASB’s website will be temporarily suspended until payment is received.
