Accounting – Accountants prepare and examine financial records. They ensure that financial records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time. Accountants assess financial operations and work to help ensure that organizations run efficiently.

Administrative – Administrative assistants perform routine clerical and administrative duties. They organize files, draft messages, schedule appointments, and support other staff.

Agricultural and Food Scientists – Agricultural and Food Scientists work to ensure that agricultural establishments are productive and food is safe.

Bakers – Bakers mix ingredients according to recipes to make breads, pastries, and other baked goods.

Chemical Engineering – Chemical engineers apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and math to solve problems that involve the production or use of food and many other products. They design processes and equipment for large-scale safe and sustainable manufacturing, plan and test methods of manufactuirng products and treating byproducts, and supervise production.

Computer and Information Research Scientists – Computer and Information Research Scientists invent and design new approaches to computing technology and find innovative uses for existing technology. They study and solve complex problems in computing for business and other fields.

Customer Service – Customer service representatives handle customer complaints, process orders, and provide information about an organization’s products and services.

Dietitians and Nutritionists – Dietitians and Nutritionists are experts in food and nutrition. They advise people on what to eat in order to lead a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.

Human Resources – Human resources specialists recruit, screen, interview, and place workers. They often handle other human resources work, such as those related to employee relations, payroll and benefits, and training. Labor relations specialists interpret and administer labor contracts regarding issues such as wages and salaries, employee welfare, healthcare, pensions, and union and management practices.

Lawyers – Lawyers advise and represent individuals, businesses, and government agencies on legal issues and disputes.

Logisticians – Logisticians analyze and coordinate an organization’s supply chain – the system that moves a product from supplier to consumer. They manage the entire life cycle of a product, which includes how a product is acquired, distributed, allocated, and delivered.

Maintenance – General maintenance and repair workers fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.

Marketing – Advertising, promotions, and marketing managers plan programs to generate interest in a product or service. They work with art directors, sales agents, and financial staff members.

Purchasing – Purchasing managers, buyers, and purchasing agents buy products for organizations to use or resell. They evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and review product quality.

Quality Control / Quality Assurance – Quality control inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

Sales – Wholesale and manufacturing sales representatives sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses, government agencies, and other organizations. They contact customers, explain product features, answer any questions that their customers may have, and negotiate prices.

Teachers – Career and technical education teachers instruct students in various technical and vocational subjects. They teach academic and technical content to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter an occupation.
