Hall of Fame - revised 1

Celebrating Baking Legends

For more than 100 years, the American Society of Baking has served the baking industry by respecting its history and time-tested results while embracing innovation and growth. In recognition of that spirit, the Baking Hall of Fame was created in 2005 as a tribute to individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the U.S. baking industry. Each year a class of distinguished leaders and entrepreneurs are inducted into the Baking Hall of Fame during a special ceremony at ASB’s annual conference, BakingTECH. The first awards were presented during the inaugural ceremony in 2006 in Chicago.

Inductees are recognized for their achievements in organizational growth and development, equipment design and innovation, advancements in ingredient technology and processing, or in a service related to the commercial baking industry. Candidates may be nominated by any individual or organization that has an interest or relationship to baking. The Hall of Fame Selection Committee, comprised of industry leaders representing a diverse mix of experiences and perspectives, review nominations based on a confidential scoring system. All ASB Member Leaders and Volunteers follow the ASB Code of Conduct and, where applicable, adhere to a Confidentiality Policy when discussing matters involving awards and honorary recognition.
