Whitney’s almost thirty years in the industry began as most do-a cashier part time for gas money. She continued to work for The Kroger Co. during college days . Those days led to over 25 years working in various Marketing and Merchandising roles for the Delta Division in Memphis , TN.  She spent a brief time in the government communications sector in San Antonio, TX. The love and passion she has for the grocery industry and marketing once again collided. Now in Madison WI, a part of the International, Dairy, Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) as VP of Marketing and serving as a  conduit  of connections and educational resources for those in the industry. 

Her greatest joy in life is being the mom of an amazing 13-year-old son who teaches me more about life,compassion and faith than I ever knew possible.

Jim became NAMA’s President in 2013, prior to joining NAMA he served as the President and CEO of the Snack Food Association (SFA) for fourteen years. Before joining SFA, he was Director of Government Affairs for the National Food Processors Association, Government Relations Assistant for Hershey Foods Corporation and as a Legislative Correspondent for the United States Senate Subcommittee on Federal Spending Practices.  He is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Committee of 100 trade association presidents, the American Society of Association Executives Association’s Key Industry Association Committee and was named among the “Top Most Influential Trade Association CEOs” by the Washingtonian Magazine in 2000.

Jim received his Juris Doctor degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America in 1989, his Masters of Business Administration from the Kogod School of Business at The American University in 1987 and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University in 1979.

Earl Arnold is a food defense and FSMA Manager for AIB International.  He has held this position since 2016. He joined AIB in 2014 as a food defense Subject Matter Expert.  

Prior to coming to AIB, Earl had a fifteen-year military career with the US Army as a food inspection manager. In that role, Earl trained and supervised more than 500 individuals in food security operations, food safety, sanitation, quality control, and risk management.

Earl serves as the lead instructor for AIB’s food defense & food fraud seminars, writes and presents on food defense issues, and has completed training for HACCP, FSMA, and food safety and sanitation.

Having been born the son of a humble cotton mill worker in northern Georgia, Jimmy’s story is proof that the American Dream lives. He enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1986 with the dream of a bright future. He graduated from North Georgia College in 1991, and was commissioned a second lieutenant in aviation. In the thirty years that have followed, Jimmy has served in various command and staff positions throughout the Army. He has led American soldiers during two tours in the Balkans, two tours in Iraq, and two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Jimmy spent twelve years of his career in the famed 101stAirborne Division (Air Assault), where he commanded Task Force Pale Horse from 2008 – 2010 and the 159thCombat Aviation Brigade from 2012 – 2015 where he led over 3,500 of American’s sons and daughters in combat in Afghanistan.

Jimmy holds a Bachelors of Arts in History from North Georgia College, a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University and a Masters in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington D.C. He is Airborne, Ranger, and Air Assault qualified. Jimmy has earned the Combat Action Badge and is a Master Army Aviator. Some of his awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, four Bronze Star Medals, and four Air Medals. Jimmy is the author of two books, Southern Roots, a memoir of growing up in the South, and PALE HORSEHunting Terrorists and Commanding Heroes with the 101stAirborne Division.

Jimmy concluded his military service in the J5 – Plans and Policy Division on the Joint Staff in Washington, D.C. where he led a select team of Department of Defense strategists as they developed plans, policy, and strategic posture for our nation’s most complex global problems.

Deborah Martin is a Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship Manager at DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences. In this role, Ms. Martin is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of product stewardship & sustainability programs associated with DuPont enzyme products in a variety of industrial applications. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist with a specialty in enzyme safety and helps DuPont customers to build good enzyme safety practices using a hierarchy of controls. Ms. Martin has over ten years of professional experience providing expertise in enzyme safety across a variety of industries, including the baking industry. She also serves on the Enzyme Technical Association Product Safety & Stewardship Committee and is Co-Chair.
